No, the only workaround I've found is using some unknown expensive software from another company to import the pics in a new capture one catalog. When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?Īre you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? Apparently Avalanche does that too, but I've found yet another software called Preset Converter from Picture Instruments. Alternatively, go to the main menu and select Adjustments menu -> Styles -> Import Styles.
Go to the Styles & Presets tool in the Adjustments tool tab and click on the Action menu, the () icon. As far as the trial goes it seems to import many more settings (if forgoes perhaps the perspective adjustment, though, at least that's what I think from the only 100 images the trial version imports in the capture one catalog file it creates). I'd gladly use it, but it's quite expensive and I'm not very trustful of an unknown software. I've found a software which is apparently doing exactly this kind of catalog conversion, it's called Avalanche for Capture One and trying it it seems to give a much more thorough job at importing lightroom settings. This is probably the biggest blocker from moving to Capture One. As far as HDR settings, structure, haze removal and perspective correction go they're not really considered. It might take a minute to smooth out your workflow in Capture One. You knowhow to import, where to access presets, how to navigate between Library and Develop modules, and where to view the histograms. I'm glad the lightroom catalog import function has been added but it still imports only very few settings (as far as i've noticed it just imports exposure compensation, contrast, white balance and crop).
